President's Welcome

President: Marcus Maurer, MD, Professor of Dermatology and Allergy Director of Research

Welcome to the website of the European Mast Cell and Basophil Research Network (EMBRN). EMBRN currently has more than 300 members and friends, in and outside of Europe, many of whom are leaders in experimental mast cell and basophil research.

During the 8 years of our existence, EMBRN has emerged as the leading global network on mast cell and basophil biology and mast cell and basophil-driven diseases. The research conducted by EMBRN members has lead to a better understanding of the physiological and pathological functions of mast cells and basophils and to better treatment options for patients with mast cell and basophil-driven diseases.

Please check out our activities and join us for our meetings. If you would like to become a member of EMBRN, please apply.

If you have any questions or would like to get in touch with EMBRN, please contact me or any of the council members directly. EMBRN is looking forward to having you join our activities and Meetings! See you soon.
